It was 1949 when Antonio della Corte began working in an old goldsmith's shop in Santa Lucia, immediately gaining admiration from the Neapolitan aristocracy. In 1974 his wife Ileana gave a new and profitable impetus to the business, making her creations known in the luxurious hotels along the seafront.
